Mick,Mark,Matt,Mary and Melissa -your mom was always one of my favorite aunts. She was fun to be around and made everyone feel special. I watched the beautiful video of your mom- I had seen many of the pictures before but it is always great to see pictures of family. You will miss her but believe me they are having quite a party in heaven right now. You as well as myself were fortunate to have our parents as long as we did. You are in my thoughts. Mary Augustine. Mike , Jane & the kids lived across the street from us in Alton. Jane was a dear friend & always there if we needed someone. If my memory serves me right she even took me to the hospital when our youngest son was born and was there until my husband arrived. A dear person. May she rest in peace.

I worked with Jane's daughter, Mary in Waterloo until my husband and I moved to Newkirk six years ago. I became acquainted with Jane after Mary told her that her former co-worker was employed at Orange City Hospital. She sought me out from then on to say hello and we would talk. I could see where Mary got her kind, giving spirit~ her mother Jane was a model of kindness. It was an honor to know her. I know God had to welcome her "home" with an embrace of joy & love, along with those who went on before her. Mary, your husband and the grandkids are in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

When I was young no one would sponsor me to take my Iowa Real Estate test. Mike and Jane did and I have fond memories of her when ever I was at Mike's office. A very sweet woman and highly respected! There is a place in Heaven that's for sure. Bruce Gebauer
